Raw Salad Dressing Recipes

Ranch Dressing

4 oz raw cashew pieces
1/3 oz minced garlic
1/2 oz pitted dates
4 oz fresh lemon juice
6 oz water
2 tsp parsley flakes
1 1/2 tsp onion powder
3/4 tsp dill weed
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/8 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp basil

In a blender, process all ingredients until smooth and creamy.  Makes 10 servings.


Italian Dressing (semi-raw)

1 large tomato
1 clove of garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil (not raw)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp fresh basil
1/2 tsp fresh oregano or 1 tsp dry
1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt

In a blender, process all ingredients until smooth and creamy.


Creamy Cumin Salad Dressing (semi-raw)

1 c. soaked sunflower seeds, almonds, or sesame seeds (3/4 c. before soaking)
1 1/2 cloves garlic, peeled
1/2 cup cilantro leaves
1 tsp Celtic sea salt
3 tbsp lemon juice (about 1 lemon) or 1 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1/8 cup flax, hemp, or olive oil (not raw)
1/2 tsp cumin powder

Thoroughly blend all ingredients with 1 cup water.   Serve over a fresh green salad.   This dressing may thicken in refrigerator, so you may need to add more water later.   It will keep for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
