Let's Get Started: Week 1 Health Challenge!

Our goal for January is to eat at least 13 servings of fresh fruits and veggies daily.  There will be a challenge each week to help everyone reach this goal!  

For the week beginning January 1, 2012:

Beginners:   Eat 2 pieces of fresh fruit and 3 servings of raw or cooked veggies a day;
Intermediates:  Eat 4 pieces of fresh fruit and 5 servings of raw or cooked veggies a day;
High Raw Achievers:  Drink a 16-18 oz. glass of green smoothie for breakfast and lunch, and a large salad with any homemade raw dressing for dinner.  See right sidebar for recipes.

To help you keep track of your progress, print off the Eat More Fruits and Veggies Challenge Log and record the fruits and veggies that you eat each day along with the number of servings.
