Should I begin a detox program before starting the 2012 Health Challenges?

There are several programs available online for detoxing aggressively.   However, we are going to choose the most natural approach to detoxing.    Did you know that your body is constantly going through some form of detoxification when you exercise and consume fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly in their raw state?   The cleaner your diet becomes, the more your body will detoxify itself!   For an excellent, short article on detoxification and what changes to expect during the process, click here.

Looking forward to starting the new year off with more fruits and veges. My goal today: eat only food that is alive and fresh.

I want to eat more living foods too, but I need help in finding simple, yet tasty raw recipes. I have a new raw "cookbook" and it is my goal for 2012 to prepare at least one recipe from it daily. Also, I want to continue making green smoothies and juicing carrots for the family.

Raw makes me feel optimal!! Eating this way naturally causes the body to detoxify itself. My goals starts January 2012 to be at 100% Raw while I keep training for my March Marathon 2012. I will share my experiences on this Raw journey challenge while training.
